At Times, We All Need Some Extra Support!

Ryan Rowlson

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

I work with individuals, couples and families in Maplewood, Minnesota.

I help my clients repair the damaging stories that may seem impossible to change. I believe that damaging stories can be repaired and healed. I work with people struggling with trauma, individuals, couples and families who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, persistent worry and/or conflict related to past or recent medical issues/chronic illness.

Couples often come to therapy carrying a lot of unresolved hurt and tired of dealing with the same old “fight” that often results in feeling immense feelings of pain, disconnect and misunderstood in their relationship. I believe that creating a safe place for partners hear each other is essential to begin understanding what both are saying and what both of them need to forgive and make amends and co create healthy, fulfilling future.

This is how your relationship becomes “unstuck.” I focus on finding common ground to stabilize a relationship that may be on the verge of divorce or breakup. I’ve successfully helped couples work through painful impasses that have kept them stuck in the same fight that they are unable to resolve. Your relationship deserves a therapist who can help each of you express unresolved hurt and pain, recover from the past, learn to communicate needs and feelings, heal individually and as a couple. My approach stems from the belief that there are many ways to create the changes needed to achieve your goals and thrive. I truly believe that all of us are worthy, no matter what we are facing, what we have done or what has happened to us.
